Natural Medicine Organization
Brief Introduction |
In
May 2001, a Meeting was held on 21st Century World Natural Medicine.
Initiated by the Chairman of UN World Peace Foundation T.Y.S Lama
Gangchen, the Meeting published “The Declaration of Establishment
of World Natural Medicine Organization”. Under the leadership of
Lama Gangchen, it founded World Natural Medicine Organization.
World Natural Medicine Organization’s headquarters set up in Italy.
Its office in UN Headquarter is 945 Fifth Avenue, #18 New York. Its
Chairman is T.Y.S Lama Gangchen.
World Natural Medicine Organization abides to UN Acts and Regulations,
answer the calling of WHO to “substantially develop natural medicine”,
carry out Strategy of traditional medicine laid down by WHO, inherit
and summarize the great achievements of natural medicine, combine
which with modern life science’s successful model and methodology,
cherish the return to nature and explore natural medicine and natural
healing methods, to realize the aim of “health for all” proposed
by UN and an ideal world in 21st century where everybody enjoys natural
life expectancy.
The organization had an executive committee set up in its headquarter.
Under the executive committee is organization committee, fund committee,
science committee, education committee, consultation committee and
natural medicine research center etc, all of which are authorized
and appointed by headquarter chairman.
Headquarter sets up office branches and representative offices in
different countries and areas. The branches carry out their work under
the leadership of headquarter, hand in membership dues and accumulation
fund to headquarter, have independent accounting. The chairman of
branches and chief representatives are appointed by headquarter, and
are authorized to handle the day-to-day operation of each branch or
representative office, including building up local organization, appoint
vice chairman or other delegates in representative office etc.
Fund sources are: United Nations World Peace Foundation, United Nations
World Natural Medicine Foundation project funds, investment from partners
in projects, membership fees from individual members and collective
members, international societies, institutions, and grants from individuals;
management fees from project partners, revenues from project operating
companies and grants from national, local governments.
In order to promote the development and progress of 21st world natural
medicine, United Nations World Natural Medicine Organization decided
to found “World Natural Medicine Group Inc.”, and under the right
circumstance, to build up natural medicine hospitals, convalescent
centers, international communication center, international natural
medicine university, research center, natural medicine research and
development base, plantation, organic farms, pharmaceutical company,
world natural medicine file archive, natural medicine online library
etc. to substantially develop natural medicine and to build up a brand
new 21st century medical system which integrates modern medicine and
natural medicine.
